SAM Dekker scored a career-high 30 points in his first career start for the Houston Rockets, James Harden finished with 29 points and 10 assists in a 119-95 rout of the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night (Sunday, Manila time) in Memphis.
Dekker was 6-11 from beyond the arc and shot 12-19 from the field.
Eric Gordon scored 21 points off the bench for the Rockets which bounced back from a loss by shooting 51.3 percent in field goals and making 16 3-pointers.
With a 34-13 record, Houston is currently trailing the San Antonio Spurs as the third spot in the West.
Memphis led 14-9 in the 1st quarter but after a triple from Harden to make it 24-21 it was Houston the rest of the way until the final buzzer.
Marc Gasol led the Grizzlies with 32 points while Mike Conley had 15 points and six assists. Memphis have lost twice in a row.
