Rockets back on track with easy victory over Kings on quiet night for James Harden

THE Rockets took control early and never let up, handily beating the Sacramento Kings, 105-83, on Tuesday in Houston (Wednesday, Manila time).

Ryan Anderson led the way for Houston, which overpowered Sacramento 25-11 in the second and was never threatened.

The Rockets got back on track after bowing to the Indiana Pacers, with Anderson delivering a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds.

Eric Gordon came off the bench to score 17 on 7 of 15 shooting as Houston notched its 36th win in 52 games.

Clint Capela also had a double-double of 12 points and 11 boards, while Nene scored 11.

James Harden had a relatively quiet 32 minutes, scoring 10 points, issuing eight assists and pulling down seven rebounds.

The Kings absorbed their second straight loss and fifth in the last 10 games.

DeMarcus Cousins had 16 points, while Kosta Koufos was the only other Sacramento starter to score in double figures with 12.

Anthony Tolliver and Willie Cauley-Stein had 10 points each for the Kings, who now hold a 19-30 record.
