RUSSELL Westbrook hit two birds with one stone: get his wish to be traded as well as reunite with a former star teammate.
The Oklahoma City Thunder superstar has been traded to the Houston Rockets for Chris Paul to set up a reunion with former teammate James Harden.
The Thunder are also getting two first round picks, one each in 2024 and 2026, and the right to trade first-rounders in 2021 and 2025.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN broke the news on Friday, Manila time.

Westbrook is the second superstar to leave OKC after Paul George left for the Los Angeles Clippers last week.
The Thunder, though, are prepared for the future after stockpiling assets in the form on a handful of first-round picks.
