RUSSELL Westbrook had 32 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists as the Oklahoma City Thunder held off the Hawks, 102-99, for its sixth straight win on Monday in Atlanta (Tuesday, Manila time).
The All-Star guard recorded his sixth straight triple double for the streaking Thunder (14-8) who are now above the .500 mark on the road with a 5-4 record.
Atlanta (10-12) kept it close in the first two quarters and only trailed by one, 55-54 at halftime.
The Thunder turned to their defense in the third quarter, limiting the Hawks to 15 points for an 83-69 lead going into the fourth.
The Hawks mounted a rally in the final period and cut the deficit to three, 102-99, with a lay-up from Dennis Schroder with 34 seconds left.
Victor Oladipo scored 14 points, six rebounds and hit a crucial triple in endgame. Steven Adams grabbed 10 boards to go along with his 12 points. Reserve Anthony Morrow added 15 points. Enes Kanter put up 10 points.
Tim Hardaway Jr. had a chance to send the game to overtime but missed his three-point attempt.
Paul Millsap returned from the injured list to lead the Hawks with 24 points, five rebounds and four assists. Schroder added 17 points, six rebounds and eight assists while Kyle Korver scored 15 for the Hawks who are on a six-game losing streak.
