Westbrook scored 28 points and issued 10 assists, while McDermott came off the bench to play 21 minutes and score 21 on 8 for 9 shooting.
Steven Adams had 16 points and Enes Kanter added 14.
The Sacramento Kings saw their win streak end at two, absorbing their 42nd loss in 69 games.
Georgios Papagiannis scored 14 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for the Kings.
