GORDON Hayward and Rudy Gobert scored 23 points apiece to lead the Utah Jazz to their fourth straight win, beating the Rockets 115-108 on Wednesday in Houston (Thursday, Manila time).
The Rockets were misfiring from three-point range and trailed by double digits for the most part of the game. Houston struggled for 8 of 32 from downtown to end a streak of 18 straight games with at least 10 triples.
Harden’s two free throws cut the Jazz lead to four with less than two minutes remaining, but Joe Johnson responded with a 3-pointer just before the shot clock expired on the other end to make it 110-103.
Gobert sealed the win with a layup that made it 112-106 with less than a minute remaining.
Rodney Hood had 19 points while Johnson finished with 16 points.
James Harden finished with 35 points for the Rockets, who have lost twice in a row. Clint Capela added 19.
