Rudy Gobert tips in game winner to cap late rally as Jazz nip Timberwolves

RUDY Gobert tipped in the game-winning basket to cap off a late rally from 11 down in the last period as the Utah Jazz took a come-from-behind 94-92 victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday (Sunday, Manila time).

Utah was down 83-92 with 3:34 left in the game when Derrick Favors scored seven straight points to key the 11-0 run.

The young Wolves folded in the last period and were outscored 25-12.

Zach LaVine, who led Minnesota with 24 points, tried to tie the game in the last play but failed to connect on his 19-foot jumper.

George Hill led the Jazz scorers with 19 points. Gordon Hayward added 15. Favors had 15 points while Gobert had 13 rebounds to go with his 12, including the game-winner.

Karl Anthony Towns had 18 points and 15 boards while Andrew Wiggins added 16 for Minnesota which tumbled to its fourth straight setback.
