THE Kings halted a four-game slide, downing the Toronto Raptors, 102-99, on Sunday in Sacramento (Monday, Manila time).
Darren Collison completed a three-point play in the dying moments as the Kings broke away froma tied game and notched their fifth win in 14 outings.
Collison’s layup and three throw made it 100-97 and the Kings held on to stop the bleeding after suffering four straight losses. The Kings starting point guard finished with 15 points and was an assist shy of a double-double.
Rudy Gay led the Kings in scoring with 23, while DeMarcus Cousins added 19.
Arron Afflalo came off the bench to score 14 points in 20 minutes of action.
The Raptors absorbed their fourth loss in 12 games.
Kyle Lowry had 25 points, while DeMar DeRozan had a terrible shooting night, going 3 for 15 and finishing with 12 points.
