RODNEY Hood hit a last-gasp triple as Utah Jazz survived poor shooting in the endgame to hold off the Dallas Mavericks, 103-100, on Friday in Salt Lake City (Saturday, Manila time).
The Jazz scored only 13 points in the fourth, the winning basket coming with eight tenths of a second to stretch their win streak to three.
Hood wound up with 15 points as the Jazz scored their 17th victory in 27 outings.
Rudy Gobert came up with 16 points and 10 rebounds, his sixth straight double-double, while Gordon Hayward had 13 points on 4 of 11 shooting.
The Mavericks absorbed their second straight loss and 20th in 26 games.
Harrison Barnes scored 21 points, while Deron Williams added 18.
