RICHARD Jefferson didn’t take long to find a new team after being traded and waived, agreeing to a US$ 2.3 million deal with the Denver Nuggets on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time).
Traded three days ago by the Cavaliers to the Atlanta Hawks, who then waived the veteran forward, Jefferson joins a Nuggets squad now led by Paul Millsap.
The Nuggets are said to be planning to waive the 35-year-old Jameer Nelson to make room for the 37-year-old Jefferson.
