THE Austin Spurs had a 38-point third quarter en route to a 95-91 victory over the Texas Legends in the NBA D-League on Wednesday in Frisco, Texas (Thursday, Manila time).
Keifer Sykes and Deshaun Thomas scored 20 points each as the Spurs scored their 20th win against 11 losses, while dealing the Legends their 15th defeat in 31 outings.
Patrick Miller scored 20 and Tu Holloway added 15 for the Legends, who have lost five of the last six games.
Fil-Am Ray Parks scored two points in eight minutes of action for Texas, joint second in the Southwest Division and tied for third in the Western Conference.
The Spurs and Legends split their matches this week. Texas won by a hairline 108-107 on Sunday.
