THE Toronto Raptors rose to the occasion on the road, dethroning the Golden State Warriors with a 114-110 Game Six victory in the last game at the Oracle Arena on Friday, Manila time.

Kyle Lowry provided the early spark, before Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam brought the Raptors home to and deny the Warriors a three-peat.

Kawhi Leonard was steady as usual as he also made a huge contribution on the way to being named Finals MVP.

The Raptors pounced on the absence of Klay Thompson, who went out late in the third quarter after hurting his knee following a scary fall.

Lowry fired 21 of his 26 points in the first half and finished with a double-double with 10 assists on top of seven boards and three steals in 42 minutes.

VanVleet lived up to his Sixth Man role, ending up with 22 points in 34 minutes off the bench, while Siakam added 26 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block with just two minutes of rest.
