CJ McCollum scored 20 points and the Portland Trail Blazers overcame the absence of leading scorer Damian Lillard, snapping a six-game losing streak with a 102-89 win against the Kings on Wednesday in Sacramento (Thursday, Manila time).

Reserve Meyers Leonard added 16 for the Blazers who missed the services of Lillard for the second straight game due to a sprained left ankle. Mason Plumlee and Maurice Harkless added 12 points apiece.

DeMarcus Cousins scored 28 points for Sacramento, which saw its four-game winning streak end.

Portland led by as many as 20 points in the second half but Cousins led a rally that cut the lead to 85-76 with 5:50 left. The Blazers countered with some timely three-pointers to widen the lead to 90-78 to put the game out of reach.
