Reserve Meyers Leonard added 16 for the Blazers who missed the services of Lillard for the second straight game due to a sprained left ankle. Mason Plumlee and Maurice Harkless added 12 points apiece.
DeMarcus Cousins scored 28 points for Sacramento, which saw its four-game winning streak end.
Portland led by as many as 20 points in the second half but Cousins led a rally that cut the lead to 85-76 with 5:50 left. The Blazers countered with some timely three-pointers to widen the lead to 90-78 to put the game out of reach.
