THE Portland Trail Blazers hit 21 3-pointers to set a franchise record in their 139-105 rout of the hapless Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night (Sunday, Manila time).
LaMarcus Aldridge tallied 20 points and 16 rebounds and Nicolas Batum scored 17 points for the Trail Blaezers (20-4) in their third win in a row. Damian Lillard added 16 and Dorell Wright chipped in 15 on 5-for-5 shooting from beyond the arc. Wesley Matthews added 14 points. Portland became the second NBA team to hit the 20 win mark which was first reached by the Indiana Pacers (20-3).
Tony Wroten led the Sixers with 18 points and Hollis Thompson added 17. Spencer Hawes scored 16, Thaddeus Young had 15 and James Anderson 14.
