PHOENIX proved steadier down the stretch to win a tight battle against Orlando, 92-87, and snap a two-game skid on Wednesday (Thursday, Manila time) at the Amway Center.

The Suns led by nine in the fourth period before the Magic went on a 9-4 run to trim the gap down to three, 85-88, with 18.5 seconds left. Eric Bledsoe and Devin Booker sank crucial free throws to keep Orlando at bay and help Phoenix close a six-game road trip with a win.

Six Phoenix players scored in double figures, led by Alex Len who had 17 points and 12 rebounds. Bledsoe added 16 markers, nine rebounds and five assists to help the Suns improve to a 5-11 record.

Evan Fournier led Orlando with 25 points and Nikola Vucevic added a double-double of 21 markers and 13 rebounds. But the Magic dropped to 6-9 as the rest of the players struggled from the field. Elfrid Payton and Serge Ibaka only had nine and five points, respectively, as Orlando shot 36 percent from the floor and only 28 percent from deep.
