Paul George scores season-high 37, Pacers hit 15 triples in win over skidding Blazers

PAUL George scored a season-high 37 points as the Indiana Pacers got back on the winning track and sent the Portland Trailblazers to their third straight loss, 118-111, on Saturday in Indianapolis.

George played 36 minutes, hitting 13 of 27 field goal attempts including 5 of 10 from the three-point line.

Thaddeus Young scored 24 points, making six of the Pacers’ 15 triples.

Myles Turner scored 14 as Indiana bounced back from an embarrassing loss to the Dallas Mavericks and notched their 12th win in 24 outings.

The Blazers actually hit more triples with 16, as CJ McColum went 7 for 11 from downtown and finished with 34 points.

But Portland still absorbed their 13th loss in 25 games, even as Damian Lillard scored 33 with five triples.
