PAUL George is teaming up with newly minted MVP Russell Westbrook after the Indiana Pacers have agreed to a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday (Saturday, Manila time).

According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, sources have said the four-time All-Star George has been sent to OKC in exchange for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis along with other pieces not made known as of posting time.

George has been the subject of much speculation on where he’ll end up playing after he informed the Pacers he would become a free agent when his contract expires after next season.

Reports have also indicated that the Southern California native wants to play for the LA Lakers, but several teams such as the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets have come up in trade talks involving George.

The Thunder-Pacers megadeal just added to the arms race in a frenzied offseason in the NBA following two blockbuster trades that saw Jimmy Butler ending up in Minnesota and Chris Paul landing in Houston.
