Pacers continue fine play, stretch streak to six with victory over Pistons

PAUL George scored 21 points, Lavoy Allen had 18 points and 11 rebounds as the Indiana Pacers beat the Detroit Pistons 105-84 on Saturday (Sunday, Manila time) for its sixth straight win.

Jeff Teague finished with 13 points and seven assists. C.J. Miles and Myles Turner also scored 13 each for Indiana which has won eight of its last 10 games.

Detroit was up 61-58 at the 10:29 mark in the fourth quarter before back-to-back 3-pointers by Miles and George sparked a 22-5 run to blow the game away.

Al Jefferson added 13 of the Pacers’ 27 points off the bench.

The Pacers (28-22) are sixth place in the East and are closing in on the Atlanta Hawks.

Marcus Morris had 19 points for the Pistons who lost after winning its previous two games. Jon Leuer scored 14 while Andre Drummond added 13 points and 9 rebounds.
