    Pacers survive scare from Nets to stretch streak to five

    PAUL George had 24 points and 11 rebounds, Jeff Teague added 24 and the Indiana Pacers extended their win streak to five by beating the Brooklyn Nets 106-97 on Friday night (Saturday, Manila time).

    The Nets were trailing the entire game before taking its first lead 85-83 with 8:37 left on a 3-pointer from Quincy Acy.

    A layup by Teague gave Indiana a 100-95 advantage with 1:21 left and preserved the win with a timely steal and two free throws that gave the Pacers an eight-point margin.

    Myles Turner and Al Jefferson scored 11 points apiece for the Pacers.

    Brook Lopez scored 23 points, Sean Kilpatrick had 18 and Joe Harris added 15 for the Nets, who have dropped eight straight and 11 straight at home.
