AFTER attending a team meeting before the start of Team USA mini-camp, Paul George has been excused from the rest of the week’s schedule.
George also spoke with head coach Mike Krzyzewski, according to sources, on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time).

The Indiana Pacers star suffered a gruesome injury during Team USA training last year in preparation for the Fiba World Cup, breaking his leg when he smashed it against the bottom of the backboard stanchion.

That appearance was enough, apparently, for Team USA, which had earlier announced that they are encouraging all pool members, even those still nursing injuries, to show up at camp in Las Vegas.
