Patty Mills showed the way as the Spurs pulled off a big win in a battle of the West leaders, although without their big stars.
Kawhi Leonard was put on concussion protocol after the loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, while the Warriors rested Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.
Mills scored 21 points on 8 of 16 shooting in 21 minutes of action as the Spurs bounced back to notch their 51st win in 65 outings.
Kyle Anderson went 5 for 7 and scored 13 points, while Davis Bertans came off the bench to match the output, making 4 of 7 field goal attempts.
The Warriors are still on top with a 52-14 win-loss record, although just half a game ahead of the Spurs.
Ian Clark came off the bench to score 26 points, Matt Barnes scored 14 and Zaza Pachulia had 11 points and 12 rebounds.
