Magic hold Cavs to nine points in fourth quarter to post second straight win

THE Magic caught fire in the second half and held the Cleveland Cavaliers to nine fourth-quarter points to post a 116-98 victory on Tuesday in Orlando (Wednesday, Manila time).

Jonathon Simmons showed the way for the Magic, who overcame a 12-quarter first-quarter deficit to post back-to-back wins and send the Cavaliers to a second straight loss.

Simmons had 34 points in 35 minutes of action, Evan Fournier came up with 19 points, while the three other Orlando starters scored in double figures.

The Magic scored 41 in the third period and 24 in the fourth.

Bismack Biyombo scored 11, while Elfrid Payton and Mario Hezonja had 10 points each.

LeBron James had 25 points for the Cavaliers, who were coming off a huge loss to the Houston Rockets.

JR Smith, Tristan Thompson and Jeff Green scored 12 each, while Isaiah Thomas and Dwyane Wade added 11 apiece for Cleveland.
