Oklahoma steals thunder over Clippers in battle of West contenders

    Nov 22, 2013

Kevin Durant kept the Oklahoma City Thunder undefeated at home with 28 points and eight assists in a convincing 105-91 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night (Friday, Manila time).

Serge Ibaka added 17 points and three blocks and Russell Westbrook put in 12 points as the Thunder won its first five home games of the season for the first time since the 2004-05 season, when the team was still known as the Seattle Supersonics.

The outcome was never in doubt for the Thunder, who led the entire game and whose lead never went below six points after that in the matchup of Western Conference powers.

Blake Griffin had another solid game for the Clippers with 27 points and 10 rebounds. The high-flying forward has had a 20-10 double in 10 of the last 12 games.
