THE Oklahoma City Thunder proved that two heads are better than one as they outlasted the Portland Trailblazers, 129-121, in overtime in the opponent’s turf at the Moda Center in Portland.

Russell Westbrook and Paul George conspired, trumping Damian Lillard’s one-man show as the Thunder got back on the winning track to tighten their grip on the third spot in West with a 40-25 record.

Westrbook was aggressive all-game long, scattering 37 points – including the three-pointer that gave the Thunder the lead for good at 118-117, on top of seven boards, and three assists that made up for his eight turnovers in 40 minutes.

George, for his part, added 32 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, and three steals as he put on the finishing touches in the huge road win.

Lillard exploded for 51 points on 15-of-28 shooting and 18-of-20 from the charity stripe, but failed to lead his team to the win at home as they suffered their second straight loss and third in four games to drop to 39-26.
