    Triple-double no. 34 for Westbrook as Thunder rides third quarter surge to romp over Raptors

    RUSSELL Westbrook continued his onslaught with his fourth straight triple-double, and 34th for the season, in leading the Oklahoma City Thunder’s romp over the Toronto Raptors, , at the Air Canada Centre on Thursday (Friday, Manila time).

    Westbrook finished with 24 points, 16 assists and 10 rebounds in three quarters of play as he sat out the fourth quarter with the Thunder cruising with a huge 39-point outburst in the third period.

    The Thunder broke the game wide open in ending the third quarter with a 17-10 run to take a 97-70 lead into the fourth quarter. And the OKC reserves showed no mercy in the fourth, extending the gap to 32 points with over four minutes remaining.

    The Raptors tried to mount a comeback but only came as close as 19 with the Thunder bench preserving their fourth straight victory.

    All OKC starters scored in double figures as Victor Oladipo added 23 points, while Enes Kanter fired 14 off the bench. Andre Roberson chipped in 13 markers for the Thunder (39-29).

    DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors (39-29) with 22 points, while Norman Powell added 13 markers off the bench.
