RUSSELL Westbrook capped his 37th triple-double of the season with a pull-up jumper to complete a 14-0 finishing kick in the final four minutes as the Oklahoma City Thunder erased a 13-point deficit and stun the Dallas Mavericks, 92-91, at the American Airlines Center on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time).

Westbrook notched 37 triple-doubles, four away from the record of Oscar Robertson with nine games left, midway through the fourth, where he also exploded for 16 of his 37 points. He also ended up with 13 rebounds and 10 assists.

The Thunder trailed 91-78 with 3:31 to go after Yogi Ferrell’s three-pointer. But Westbrook went on a late tear, scoring 12 of the last 14 points, including the go-ahead jumper with seven ticks left. Harrison Barnes missed a long triple at the buzzer as Dallas lost two in a row to fall four games below the 8th spot in the West.

Victor Oladipo scored 15 for OKC (42-31), while Taj Gibson added 13 markers.

Wes Matthews and Nerlens Noel each had 15 points for the Mavs, while Ferrell finished with 13 markers.
