THERE will be no repeat of last year's NBA preseason game in the Philippines, for now, after the league announced its slate of preseason games to be played overseas.
The NBA said the Brooklyn Nets and the Sacramento Kings will play two games in two cities in China as part of the five stops of the NBA Global Games 2014 to be held from October 8 to 15.
The Nets play the Kings on October 12 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai before heading to the Chinese capital of Beijing for another showdown at the Mastercard Center.
Last October, the Indiana Pacers went up against the Houston Rockets in a historic match at the Mall of Asia Arena, the first-ever NBA preseason game to played in the Philippines.
In other NBA Global Games 2014 matches, the San Antonio Spurs will play Alba Berlin on October 8 in the German capital and Fenerbahce on October 11 in Istanbul, Turkey respectively.
LeBron James’ Miami Heat will face his former team Cleveland Cavaliers on October 11 at the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
