Hornets rally late to end two-game slide and deal Thunder second consecutive loss

THE Hornets rallied in the fourth quarter to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder, 123-112, on Wednesday in Charlotte (Thursday, Manila time).

The game was tied at 101 with under four minutes to play when the Hornets caught fire and the Thunder could not react.

Nicolas Batum scored 28 on 7 of 18 shooting, while Kemba Walker had 20 points wand was a rebound shy of a double-double.

Frank Kaminsky came off the bench to deliver 17 points for Charlotte, which ended a two-game slide.

The Hornets notched their 20th win in 36 games.

Russell Westbrook had 33 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists, but that wasn’t enough to keep the Thunder from absorbing its second straight loss.

Enes Kanter had 22 points, while Victor Oladipo and Steven Adams scored 18 each for the Thunder, who suffered their 15th loss in 36 games.
