Nikola Jokic back in harness and Nuggets back on track with rout of Celtics

NIKOLA Jokic is back in harness and the Nuggets are back on track, downing the Boston Celtics, 119-99, on Friday in Denver (Saturday, Manila time).

Returning after two games out due to illness, Jokic came up with 21 points and 10 rebounds and the Nuggets bounced back from a loss to the Washington Wizards.

Wilson Chandler had 23 points of 8 of 16 shooting, while Danilo Gallinari went 6 for 12 and finished with 20 points.

Jamal Murray came off the bench to deliver 13 points as the Nuggets notched their 30th win in 65 games.

The Celtics could not get a win run going after defeating the Golden State Warriors, absoring their third loss in the last four games.

Isaiah Thomas had 21 points on 7 of 14 shooting, while Avery Bradley scored 16, making 6 of 14 field goal attempts.

Al Horford had 15 points and Jaylen Brown had 14 points off the bench for Boston, which absorbed its 25th loss in 66 outings.
