Matthews, Curry, Nowitzki show way as Mavericks rout Magic

WESLEY Matthews, Dirk Nowitzki and Seth Curry showed the way as the Mavericks ripped the Orlando Magic, 112-80, on Saturday in Dallas (Sunday, Manila time).

The Mavericks made it two straight wins and eight in the last 12 games.

Matthews scored 20 points on 7 of 16 shooting as the Mavericks notched their 22nd win in 54 outings.

Seth Curry and Dirk Nowitzki came up with 14 points each, both going 6 for 12 from the field.

Nicolas Brussino and Yogi Ferrell had 10 points apiece.

The Magic suffered their fourth straight loss and 36th win 56 games.

Bismack Biyombo came off the bench to lead the Magic, scoring 15 points.

Evan Fournier went 6 for 12 and wound up with 14 points, while CJ Watson added 10 for Orlando.
