WATCH Lakers' Larry Nance hits stunning own basket from just inside free throw line
The Lakers' Larry Nance makes an own goal that gives the Clippers an early four-point lead.

THE Lakers were off to a slow start against the Clippers, and to make matters worse in a difficult start, Larry Nance had an embarrassing own basket on Friday in Los Angeles (Saturday, Manila time).

The young 6-foot-9 forward was reaching for a long defensive rebound when he accidentally tipped the ball right into the basket.

That gave the Clippers a four-point lead just a little over two minutes gone by, with the basket awarded to DeAndre Jordan.

The Lakers struggled and went on to post seven turnovers in the first quarter alone and the Clippers claimed a 94-84 win.
