Tobias Harris leads way as Pistons ease to victory over weary Hornets

TOBIAS Harris led the way as the Detroit Pistons used a solid start and a strong finish to beat the Hornets, 112-89, on Tuesday in Charlotte (Wednesday, Manila time).

Harris scored 24 points on 9 of 12 shooting as the Pistons recovered from a huge loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope went 6 for 14 in scoring 18 points, while Marcus Morris matched that output on an 8 for 18 clip.

The Pistons scored their first road win and eighth victory in 18 outings.

The Hornets saw their two-game win streak snapped.

Kemba Walker scored 23 points and Michael Kidd Gilchrist was the only other starter to score in double figures with 10.

Marco Belinelli came off the bench to deliver 11 points for Charlotte, which was playing its fourth game in five days.
