The 41-year-old Nash, who played for the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks and LA Lakers, will be as part-time player development consultant and occasional tutor to the Golden State guards.

A social media port by Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports said on Saturday morning (Sunday, Manila time) that the Lakers, as well as the Suns, had offered the same job to Nash before the Warriors deal.

Apparently the  two teams did, but Nash clarified it was after he had agreed to join the Warriors.

Nash was earlier reported to have been joining Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson in training, and that No. 2 pick D’Angelo Russell may join in.
