Golden State Warriors nearing deal to have Steve Nash as part of coaching staff, according to report
Two-time MVP Steve Nash is expected to become a tutor for the Golden State Warriors guards.

SO small ball is getting a big boost.

Retired superstar playmaker Steve Nash is said to be “in advanced negotiations” to become a member of the Golden State Warriors staff.

The 41-year-old Nash, who played for the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks and LA Lakers, is expected to take the job as part-time player development consultant, according to an ESPN report.

Nash, who was earlier reported to have been joining Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson in training, was apparently not interested in a formal coaching job but has reportedly been convinced to take a spot on the team staff on a limited-role.
