Spurs get back on winning track with easy victory over Nets

THE San Antonio Spurs got right back on track after absorbing their first road loss, scoring a huge 120-101 home win over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday (Sunday, Manila time).

Kawhi Leonard scored 30 points, making 10 of 18 field goal attempts including 4 of 7 from beyond the arc as the Spurs bounced back from a loss to the Chicago Bulls.

Patty Mills scored 16 points in 16 minutes off the bench for San Antonio, which notched its 19th win in 24 games.

Pau Gasol added 15 points, while LaMarcus Aldridge scored 12 and was a rebound shy of a double-double for the Spurs.

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 20 points for Brooklyn, which absorbed its 16th loss in 22 games.
