Sky Cable assures action as Basketball TV, NBA Premium channels unavailable with playoffs near  
NBA fans subscribed to Sky Cable are hoping Basketball TV and NBA Premium channels return in time for the playoffs. 

SKY CABLE subscribers are waiting for the return of Basketball TV and NBA Premium on its channel line-up after the two networks became “temporarily not available” on the air recently.

Sky Cable recently issued an advisory on its social media accounts recently that NBA Premium TV and Basketball TV are temporarily not available, adding that subscribers can continue to watch the NBA on ABS-CBN Sports and Action, which carries the games on free television.

Several subscribers were surprised and also infuriated upon learning feeds of BTV and NBA Premium became unavailable in the past few days, more so since the NBA Playoffs is about to start on Sunday.

In response to queries by subscribers, however, Sky Cable made an assurance as they are now working on restoring the signal of BTV and NBA Premium as soon as possible.

Solar Entertainment, which owns BTV and NBA Premium and the rightsholder to air the NBA on pay TV, has no comment on the situation when reached by

Sources who refused to be named, however, said both Solar and Sky Cable are “fixing the situation” and “exploring options.”

For now, Basketball TV, in a recent tweet, said the network can still be seen during the NBA Playoffs on Cignal and Dream Cable, while NBA Premium is available on Cignal and Cablelink.
