THE Minnesota Timberwolves pulled away in the second half and scored a 105-88 victory over the Denver Nuggets in an NBA preseason game on Wednesday in Lincoln, Nebraska (Thursday, Manila time).

Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and Shabazz Muhammad each scored 18 points as the Timberwolves notched their second win in three games.

Wilson Chandler had 16 points and Jamal Murray scored 14 for the Nuggets, who now hold an even 2-2 record.
