Another Russell Westbrook triple-double, another win for Thunder as they beat Pelicans

RUSSELL Westbrook continued his triple-double run as the Thunder defeated the New Orleans Pelicans, 101-92, on Sunday in Oklahoma City (Monday, Manila time).

Westbrook came up with 28 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists, his fifth straight triple-double as OKC notched its fifth straight victory.

The OKC guard is now two away from Michael Jordan’s mark of seven consecutive triple-doubles in 1989 with the Chicago Bulls.

Enes Kanter had 17 points off the bench on 7 of 13 shooting, while Victor Oladipo scored 15 in 35 minutes of action for Oklahoma City.

The Pelicans absorbed their second straight loss and 14th in 21 games even as Anthony Davis came up with another huge game with 37 points and 15 rebounds in 43 minutes of work.
