Westbrook posts 29th triple-double of season as Thunder down Pelicans and keep Boogie-Brow duo winless

RUSSELL Westbrook scored 41 points and posted his 29th triple-double of the season as the Thunder downed the New Orleans Pelicans, 118-110, on Sunday in Oklahoma City (Monday, Manila time).

The Thunder made it three straight wins and chalked up their 34th victory in 59 outings.

Enes Kanter had 20 points off the bench and was a rebound short of a double-double.

Steven Adams had 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Alex Abrines also scored 13 as the Thunder kept the Pelicans winless since acquiring DeMarcus Cousins.

Cousins and frontcourt partner Anthony Davis again came up huge, combining for 69 points, but are still 0-3.

The Pelicans have lost 37 of 60 games.

Cousins played 21 minutes, going 8 for 15 and finishing with 31 points.

Davis went 15 for 28 and wound up with 38 points in 32 minutes of action.

E’Twaun Moore was the only other New Orleans player to score in double figures, coming off the bench to deliver 10 points.
