Rio Grande Valley Vipers send Texas Legends to second straight loss
Tu Holloway and the Legends finish their road trip with back-to-back losses.

RAPHIAEL Putney scored 26 points and Jaron Johnson added 23 as the Rio Grande Valley Vipers sent the Texas Legends to a second straight defeat, 131-122, in the NBA D-League on Saturday at State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas (Sunday, Manila time).

Houston Rockets assignee K.J. McDaniels added 18 points, 12 rebounds as the Vipers scored their 15th victory in 28 games.

Brandon Ashley had 29 points, Tu Holloway scored 24 and Allen Durham chipped in with 23 for the Legends, who suffered their 12th loss in 27 games.

Fil-Am Ray Parks started for the Legends and came up with six points in 12 minutes of action.

The Legends were coming off a 98-114 loss to the LA D-Fenders.
