THE Santa Cruz Warriors fought back from 15 points down in the fourth and beat the Texas Legends in overtime, 113-108, to earn a split of a back-to-back a back-to-back set in the NBA D-League on Saturday at Kaiser Permanente Arena in California (Sunday, Manila time).

Elliot Williams scored 31 points as the Warriors scored their fifth win in nine games and stopped the Legends’ win streak at three.

Darington Hobson chipped in with 22 points, while Verdell Jones added 20.

Daniel Orton, who played for Purefoods in the PBA earlier this year before his stint was cut short after some controversial comments about Manny Pacquiao, added 13 for the Warriors.

Texas was ahead by twin digits for most of the game and carried a 15-point lead into the final period but failed to hold on and suffered their third defeat in seven matches.

Jamil Wilson scored 19 as the Legends had all starters plus two substitutes in double figures, although Fil-Am Ray Parks again rode the bench.
