LA D-Fenders score wire-to-wire victory, end Texas Legends’ win streak at three

VANDER Blue scored 29 points and Ryan Gomes added 23 as the Los Angeles D-Fenders beat the Texas Legends, 114-98, in the NBA D-League on Wednesday in El Segundo, California (Thursday, Manila time).

Blue recorded his ninth straight game with over 20 points as the D-Fenders evened their record to 14-14 and halted the Legends’ three-game win streak.

Tu Holloway scored 28 points and Steven Pledger came up with 18 points for the Legends, who suffered their 11th loss in 26 outings.

Fil-Am Ray Parks scored four points 2 of 5 shooting in 13 minutes of play for the Legends, who next play the Rio Grande Valley Vipersin in Hidalgo, Texas on Saturday.
