Rare LeBron James rookie card expected to sell for US$200,000
The auction house considers the card as being more valuable than the jersey James wore when the Cleveland Cavaliers won an historic Game Seven in the 2016 NBA Finals to clinch its first ever title. 

A RARE LeBron James rookie card is expected to fetch a record price in an auction.

Goldin Auctions describes the collectible as “the most valuable and coveted LeBron James card in the world.”

The latest bid was at US$70,000 but with 11 days remaining the card is expected to sell in the $200,000 range when the auction ends.

The value of the card is still expected to soar in the coming years.

The 2003-04 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection card is autographed by the four-time NBA MVP and features a game-worn jersey patch.
