CJ McCollum ties career-high 37 as Blazers spoil Chandler Parsons' Grizzlies debut

CJ MCCOLLUM matched his career-high 37 points as the Portland Trail Blazers ended a three-game road trip with a 100-94 win against the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedEx Forum on Sunday (Monday, Manila time).

McCollum went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc as Portland notched its second straight win, and ended up 3-1 on a four-game road trip.

Damian Lillard had 19 points, seven assists and six rebounds for the Blazers. Maurice Harkless added 18 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.

The game was close for the first three quarters before the Blazers pulled away in the last period, limiting the Grizzlies to just 17 points in the final 12 minutes. McCollum scored 16 in the period to lead the charge for Portland.

Memphis (3-4) lost its second game in a row and spoiled the season debut of Chandler Parsons, who had surgery on his right knee in March and went 0-8 from the field. 

Marc Gasol had 21 points and three rebounds while Mike Conley finished with 16 markers and seven assists.
