Pau Gasol shows way as Spurs extend streak to four with victory over Kings

THE San Antonio Spurs extended their winning run to four and sent the Kings reeling to their third straight loss, 110-105, on Wednesday in Sacramento (Thursday, Manila time).

Pau Gasol led the way with 24 points, making 10 of 17 field goal attempts, as the Spurs notched their ninth in 12 games.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 21 points and Kawhi Leonard scored 20 for the Spurs, who next take on the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Kings absorbed their eighth loss in 12 outings, and have another tough assignment as they next face the league leading Los Angeles Clippers.

DeMarcus Cousins had 26 points, while Matt Barnes came off the bench to score 15 and ben McLemore added 14.
