MIAMI brought the heat from the start to snap the Cleveland Cavaliers five-game win streak with a 98-79 romp on Tuesday (Wednesday, Manila time).

Kelly Olynyk and Dwyane Wade led a strong first quarter finish that the Heat sustained in the second period with an 18-3 blitz to take the fight out early from the Cavs.

The Miami lead even ballooned to 23 late in the fourth as the Heat never let up en route to ending their two-game skid and improve to 40-35 and boosting their playoff bid.

Olynyk led all scorers with 19 points, while James Johnson and Josh Richardson each scored 15. Wade added 12 markers and four blocks, including a blind-side swat on LeBron James, off the bench.

James had 18 points to lead the Cavs (44-30) but struggled with just 7-of-18 shooting. Rodney Hood added 15 markers off the bench, while Jordan Clarkson and Jose Calderon scored 11 apiece.

Kevin Love also went out early after an accidental elbow from Jordan Mickey caused him to suffer a displaced tooth. He had just one point in seven minutes.
