Grizzlies extend win streak to three with easy victory over slumping Suns

THE Grizzlies took control early and cruised to a 110-91 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday in Memphis (Thursday, Manila time).

The game was close only in the first three minutes, with Memphis overpowering Phoenix 24-15 in the first period.

Mike Conley scored 23 and Marc Gasol added 19 as the Grizzlies made it three straight wins, getting a boost ahead of their match with the Golden State Warriors.

Troy Daniels came off the bench to deliver 14 points as Memphis notched its 33rd win in 55 games.

The Suns absorbed their third straight loss and 37th in 53 games.

Devin Booker scored 20 on 6 of 13 shooting, Eric Bledsoe scored 16 on a miserable 3 for 15 clip and Brandon Knight went 5 for 11 in also scoring 16.
