Marc Gasol triples lift Grizzlies to overtime victory over winless Wizards

BIG man Marc Gasol came up with the big shots from beyond the arc, hitting a triple to send the game into overtime and making two more in the extra minutes to lift the Grizzlies to a 112-103 victory over the Washington Wizards on Sunday in Memphis (Monday, Manila time).

Gasol hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 100 with 15 seconds left in the fourth quarter and two more gave the Grizzlies control in overtime.

The Grizzlies big man finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Mike Conley also had a  double-double of 24 points and 11 assists.

Memphis scored its second win in three games.

Zach Randolph came off the bench to play 25 minutes and score 22 points on 10 of 16 shooting, while Vince Carter chipped in with 18 points in 32 minutes of action, making five of six shots from beyond the arc.

John Wall had 22 points and 13 assists, while Marcin Gortat also had a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Wizards, winless in two games.
