Grizzlies make it three straight wins with 20-point rout of Nuggets

THE Memphis Grizzlies took charge early and never let up, cruising to a 119-99 victory over the Nuggets on Wednesday in Denver (Thursday, Manila time).

Marc Gasol and Mike Conley showed the way for Memphis, which took a 27-18 first quarter lead and never let up.

The Grizzlies made it three straight wins and dealt the Nuggets a second consecutive loss.

Gasol went 9 for 15 and finished with 24 points, while Conley came up with 18 points on 7 of 14 shooting as Memphis notched its 30th victory in 51 outings.

Zach Randolph came off the bench to score 14 points for Memphis.

The Nuggets absorbed their 27th loss in 48 games.

Danilo Gallinari scored 14 points on 4 of 12 shooting, while reserves Darrell Arthur and Emmanuel Mudiay also matched the output. Arthur went 4 for 9 while Mudiay shot 4 for 10.
