Lou Williams takes charge for Lakers in win over Heat as Goran Dragic gets sent off

LOU Williams took charge for the Lakers as Miami Heat top scorer Goran Dragic got ejected and the home team pulled off a 127-100 victory on Friday in Los Angeles (Saturday, Manila time).

Williams scored came off the bench to score 24 points as the Lakers bounced back from a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers and notched their 14th win in 40 games.

Dragic was ejected in the third quarter along with Lakers’ Fil-American guard Jordan Clarkson after a scuffle.

Luol Deng came up with a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds, while D’Angelo Russell also had 19 points.

Dragic had 16 points in 22 minutes of play before being sent off.

Clarkson wound up with just four points in 10 minutes of play.

The Heat could not get a win run going after downing the Kings. They absorbed their 27th loss in 38 games.

Willie Reed scored 22 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, while James Johnson came off the bench to score 20.
